parasites in southeast africa and asia
Worried about getting malaria when you travel to hot wet climates... well you should be, but lesser known parasites are a bitch... like the poostie fly, you have a high chance of getting this one if you're in a place in rainy season like vietnam or zambia or something... the fly lays eggs on damp surfaces like clothes or skin or something, and the parasite burrows into your skin. You have to wait a few days for it to fully mature, and then once the hole opens up in your skin you cover it with vaseline. The larva will stick its head out cuz it cant breath, and then you grab the fucker and kill it. Otherwise, if you wait a while, it'll hatch into a fly and fly out... this is nast and painful, but pretty cool somehow. Anyway I'm used to my dogs getting them but now I have one on my arm and I'm waiting for it to mature... so it sucks and im venting, peace

Got a digital camera? I'd actually quite like to see some pics of that especially when it pokes it's head out...but that's my wierdness coming through.

wow, i cant believe there's interest in this, you must be doctors or just weird like many of us. So right now, in my skin, its a lump with an area of reddened skin around it, when the larva comes out it will be about four to six centimeters long and look like, well, a larva, I'll try to find a camera
