I personally think snap-on and craftsman are wastes of money. Before you start flaming, I work closely with the machine shop guys at my job, and have used hand tools of pretty much every brand. In our machine shop, we have one set of wrenches that have been used for years, and they are rigid. They get way more use than normal homeowner bs. Snap on may be xxxx% stronger and have a lifetime warranty, but you are more likely to lose your tools than break most hand tools (exception: $2.00 ratchet sets). I have never damaged any of my walmart wrenches ( popular mechanics) which also have a lifetime warranty and are 15% of the price of snap ons...

DeWALT for power tools that's what my dad uses and SNap on for regular tools because thats what I use!!!!!!!!!!
I went to whyo tech and the school had snap on. So all I used was snap on tool's, and there the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE THEM I WANT TO GET MORE.

uy overpriced, over engineered tools so you feel safer at night knowing your 1/4" wrench could be used as a train car coupling... (even though there is no proof snap-on is stronger...) but still has no better every day use than a Stanley...

I have to agree with this...I DO use craftsman and snap-on back-to-back (roommate has snap-on, i have craftsman). However, never underestimate the power of Gear Wrench. A friend's flywheel bolts were seized...he broke three sockets and two ratchets (all craftsman, i believe) on it, and then put a ratcheting gear wrench and jumped on it...gear wrench held, and broke it free. I've personally had bolts that only had 5 degrees of movement, and haven't had any way to get them off except for gear wrench (stupid MR2...grumble grumble)

However, the open-end of gear wrenches is rather weak.which is why you need the snap-on as well! :-)

I did buy a breaker bar from wall mart I was not sure what brand it was but it works really good!!!!!!!!
(any one like girls that can fix cars
