I suppose the point is that if man and dinosaur interacted, it would be quite noticable. In addition Noah's ark says that Noah brought every animal, which would include extinct animals (for some reason fundamentalists had a problem with extinct animals).

I totally can not fathom why anyone would accept a global flood myth, just on the face of it, much less care about dinosaurs.

As for the flood, no there was no *global* flood,however there's a ton of evidence for an extremely large flood in the middle east. And you'll notice it's not just Judao-Christian religions that have a flood story.

Noah's flood, and the Sumerian and Babylonian flood stories may not be literally correct, but the mythological tradition of them is certainly based on truth.

If we are going to talk flood stories, you can't forget the Epic of Gilgamesh. Also, doesn't the Elder Edda talk about the world starting as a sea? *tries to remember.*

That depends on what sort of truth you are appealing to. Did a large flood happen? Possibly. Does a shared mythology prove that a large flood happened?
No, why would it?

In addition, Ancient Egypt which was around at the time of the supposed flood records not a blip in their history of a large flood (nor of the exodus, but I digress).

Two of each animal- estimate of 275,000 land dwelling animals.
275,000 x 2= 550,000

Ark Dimension Necessitated- estimate 7 miles in length
3 miles in width
1 mile in hight

Materials needed for construction- estimate of 18 million trees

Labor availability- 7 humans of extraordinary lifespan

Labor hours required- estimate of 2000 years for tree fall
estimate of 4000 years for construction

needed supplies- food for animals estimate

5,550,000 lbs of provisions

5 fold increase in ark size required

Excrement Removal- 4 oz. per animal per day

LOL, that's why it's a symbol and not literal. Theologically speaking, it's there to express a "truth of faith," rather than a historical account of an occurance.

I didn't say that Egyptions didn't have similar flood myths, I said that there wasn't any record of a flood at the time when Moses supposedly saved the world.

IN addition the site you present doesn't seem to list references and doesn't give any sort of date for the findings.
