phaleonopsis (sp?) orchid
Does anybody know how to care for phaleonopsis orchids? I bought one from Costco a few weeks ago, and it seems to be doing poorly. The new blooms that were on it when I bought it quickly shriveled and died, and now the older blooms are starting to shrivel. I am doing all the things the little tag it came with said, and it has the proper levels of light and (I think) water. Could it be being bothered by the air vent near it?

If you have a Smith and Hawkings nearby, the people who work there are well versed in orchids. At least in the one near me they are. My cousin bought an orchid from them (damned thing was over $50), and I've never heard anyone so knowledgeable about a plant before.
As I understand it, orchids are very particular about watering, sunlight, and fertilizer. Too much maintanance for me |
