Any Spanish majors (buffs) here?
Could someone help me out? I'm trying to transcribe and translate the intro to the song "Promise I" by Snoop Dogg. It can be found here-->
The best I have been able to come up with is: "Papito te amo, y nunca, nunca queiro de harte" From piecing what little I know about Spanish and robot google translators, I have come up with, "Young man I love you, and I will never, never leave you." Can someone out there with more experience in Spanish verify this for me? Thanks. |
you are right in the translation, but its
"Papito te amo, y nunca, nunca quiero dejarte" |
Yeah, Spanish is an easy language to learn and gain a grasp over; the only things that ever tripped me up were the accents, the different past tense usages (I can only use one, the past imperfect, so it sounds as though 'I was doing something' constantly, instead of 'I did something' or 'I had done something'...) AND the fact that in most cases, the 'H' is silent, and the 'J' takes the place of the English-sounding 'H' sound we are accustomed to. Also, I can't type on the keyboard anymore because of all the functions for accents. That doesn't matter as much, since I rarely speak it unless I'm prompted to do so.
