Bitpim problems and downloading pics off motorola v3c?

Ok, so this is possibly the wrong forum, or not an acceptable topic for this board, admins do what you please

So, I borrowed my mothers razr phone and took some pics at a concert last night. And now I cant get the damn things downloaded to my computer.

I installed the right drivers for the phone.

And found some info telling me to use bitpim
and this is what I have done so far:

This tutorial will teach you how to upload and download pictures, videos, ringtones, ect to your Motorola v3c. First off you will need software. You are going to need to download bitpim from www.bitpim.org. If you want to put videos on your phone, you will also need a video converter capable of converting movies to and from a 3g2 format (quicktime). If you want to view videos from your phone without converting them, you may need quicktime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/win.html. You will need the correct drivers, they're attached to this post. Lets move on.

You have Bitpim installed already, lets work on the settings. Click Edit/Settings. Here are the important things to change here.

Phone type = Other CDMA
Com Port = (click browse, and on the list, look for motorola usb modem). Then press ok.
Thats it.

Bitpim, like any other software i've tried (other than mobile phone tools) has not put us on the phone list. . Click the filesystem tab. Click the "+" next to the "/". Retrieving will appear for awhile, and assuming you have the correct drivers installed properly, many files will appear.

Click the "+" next to "motorola", then "shared".
Goto picture, and click on it.
The pictures you took with the camera will be at the bottom of the list.
If you find one that you wish to download to your computer, right click it. Press "save", and choose the location.

Now, when I click on picture, it tells me that there was nothing found. I know there are pictures in the phone!

Does anyone have one of these phones? How do you get your pictures, and is there an easier way?
