I heard bird flu has killed 60% of the people that got infected (regardless of health (young/old/etc...). The only reason it hasnt spread is that in its current form it can not be spread human->human, just bird->human. So as long as it doesnt mutate, or if it does mutate as long as we quaratine countries/hemispheres we sould be OK.
