Seeking a specific joke
 

Had a conversation in the office today in regards to the breakfast club. There is a scene where Judd Nelson (John Bender) is crawling in the ceiling, and falls. While crawling he is telling a joke that gets cutoff. We were trying to remember what the joke was, and if anyone knows the punch line. I did just put breakfast club on netflix just for this!

Originally, he was supposed to tell a joke that would end when he came back into the library and said, "Forgot my pencil", but no one could come up with a joke for that punchline."

Redlemon! How could you possibly have been a teenager in the 80s and not have seen this movie at least once...

I didn't see much in the way of pop culture while growing up, especially the John Hughes style of movies. Occasionally we catch one if it comes up on Comedy Central or something, but it wasn't until after graduation that I saw any of them. Yes, I'm 36, there's really no excuse.

"Just pour some beer in a saucer, the dog won't eat otherwise"? Nah, that's no good either.

there's actually a website or two (at least there used to be) devoted to finding a punchline for the joke...

Is it possible that the punchline to this joke is contained in Marsellus Wallace's briefcase?
