How a Christmans tradition began
 

Heard this on the radio this morning - thought it was funny and topical



Along time ago, the day before Christmas, Santa was having a crappy day.

Some of the elves had gotten into his grog cabinet, creating general havoc and dirrupting the production line. Rudolph had a cold, there was a blizzard outside and Mrs Clause was giving Santa an earful. Nothing was going right.

Then a knock at the door. It was the friendly fairy, who had come to deliver his Christmas tree. "Lovely tree Santa, Where do you want me to stick it?" said the fairy.

And so it began, the tradition of placing a fairy on top of the Christmas tree.
