Work vs Prison
 

Got this from work a while ago. Puts a new perspective on things.

1) IN PRISON . . . you spend the majority of your time in an 8X10 cell.
AT WORK . . . you spend the majority of your time in a 6X8 cubicle.

2) IN PRISON . . . you get three meals a day.
AT WORK . . . you only get a break for one meal and you have to pay for it.

3) IN PRISON . . . you get time off for good behavior.
AT WORK . . . you get more work for good behavior.

4) IN PRISON . . . the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK . . . you carry around a security card and open all the doors for yourself.

5) IN PRISON . . . you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK . . . you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

6) IN PRISON . . . you get your own toilet.
AT WORK . . . you have to share with some idiot who pees on the seat.

7) IN PRISON . . . they allow your family and friends to visit.
AT WORK . . . you can't even speak to your family.

8) IN PRISON . . . all expenses are paid by the taxpayer - no work required.
AT WORK . . . you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

9) IN PRISON . . . you spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out.
AT WORK . . . you spend most of your time wanting to get out and go inside bars.

10) IN PRISON . . . you must deal with sadistic wardens.
AT WORK . . . they are called managers.

Isn't that the truth. Prisons are far to "nice" these days.

If it weren't for the whole gang rape thing, prison might be pretty good...

After watching OZ for a number of years, I would rather be stuck in a cubicle anyday.

10) In prison, you might be in solitary confinement.
At work, you have to deal with the fuckers ALL DAY LONG.

11) In prison, you can piss whenever you want to.
At work, your boss tells you when you can piss.

12) In prison, they take you outside to exercise.
At work, you have abandoned all hope of seeing the sun.

And to top it all off, they will send you to prison for free, but you have to BEG for a job!

Prison would be my lazy man dream. Except for the showering. That just scares me.

wow...somebody must of been in the corporate world for too long. haha.
This is a great laugh and true.

I prefer to think that workplaces are far too "mean" these days.
