Id Ten T Error...
The class blonde was having trouble with her computer. So she called Rick the computer guy, to come over. Rick clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave her a bill for a minimum service call.
As he was walking away, she called after him, "So, what was wrong?" He replied, "It was an ID ten T error." She didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired: "An ID ten T error? What's that ..... in case I need to fix it again?" The computer guy grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?" "No," she replied. "Write it down," he said, "you'll figure it out." |
A PEBKAC...
It's always that one, it seems. heh heh |
Gotta love a smartass

Both errors can usually be solved with a good dose of RTFM!

It is said that 95% of all computer problems occur between the chair and the keyboard. Sounds a little low to me!!!
By the way...PEBKAC...not heard that one. ID Ten T is well known, and a 710 cap, but I've not seen PEBKAC...what is that one? |
hehehe, I haven't heard that before.

PEBKAC = 'problem exists between keyboard and chair'
By far the most common IT support problem... |

In my old shop we kept two items on hooks as you walked in the door. First was a board with the word "L.A.R.T" burned on one side, and "Clue X Four" on the other. The other object was the biggest wrench you've ever seen with a tag that read "For Percussive Maintenance Only".
