The article/commentary is very ironic/sarcastic... but taken out of the context, the text Poyzun_Ivy posted give us the impression that the author is kind of retarted.

He ends the commentary with something like "I fear the day the industry make a book out of my favourite movie - Jesus Christ Superstar."

Well, I got the picture/translation from a MUD that I play... one of the wizards posted it in the jokes section of our daily news and translated it for us. ;) So no credit taken for the picture being misleading.

It's not enough to write a book on a movie that already exist. Oh no, it has to come sequels as well. Lord of the rings has, if you haven't already noticed, all of a sudden become tree parts. Not to mention that Harry Potter. The movie wasn't close to being good enough as to milk four five books out on the same theme?

I have heard that they have several teams of soulless writers that are writing the sequels per order. That is probably why they have such odd names. Because they are made up I mean.

What serious writer would call himself something as complicated as J.R.R. Tolkien? Most real, serious writers has pretty ordinary Swedish names. Ekman, Enquist, Lindgren.

It would have been nice if that literary sequel phenomenon had limited itself to books and authors, but no. Now even movie classics like Romeo and Juliet as well as Hamlet are being remade into theatrical plays in the hands of the ruthless and greedy theatre industry.
