I don't recall there ever being a rulae against Jackson jokes. I do recall a time where some of the moderator staff were not equipped with a sense of humor. As it is now, as long as a Jackson joke isn't racist or actually a picture of a child being perped on I don't think there is going to be much of a fallout tfp rulewise.

Yep, that's about it. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to something that's funny. If it's just creepy, that's another story. We don't allow pictures of kids ever - right, Cynthetiq? (hehe) - but since we don't have a rule about Gary Glitter I don't see anything wrong here. If someone else does, use your "report post" button and let us know if there's something that's a real problem since we can't (and don't want to) look at ever post in every thread.

To me, jokes about Michael Jackson being a pedophile aren't quite the same as a joke about being a pedophile, which is what I think was in mind when that rule was created...

I'll be damned. Fortunate that the back button works in all areas of the board. It saves everyone from seeing too much of anything they don't want to see.

I heard that since 90% of Michael Jackson's body was plastic, in lieu of cremation his body will be melted down and remade into leggos. Now children will get to play with him, for a change....
