Kangeroos
Parachute pants

Aqua Net
Scooters (not those Razors they have today)
Windows V3.1
My Little Pony
Tape singles (music)

Cell phones were only something rich people had
Beepers/ pagers
Super Tecmo Bowl (and at the arcade games only cost a quarter)
Garbage Pail Kids

Wow, I didn't think I was THAT old... I'm not even 27 yet! (I remembered 12). I guess my parents were just old-fashioned, what can I say... and they refused to let go of the 70's, long after I was born. Not to mention we lived in the boondocks... (does that phrase date me as well?).

Amazingly enough I remember about 20 of them and I am not that old!?!

My favorite - Mimeograph paper. You always knew when the teacher made copies in the morning before class because the room would have that smell. Nothing like making copies with a hand cranked machine...

there's a scene in the movie fast times at ridgemont high, where Mr Hand passes out a bunch of mimeographed pieces of paper to the class, and every single one of them sniffs the paper for the "high" that came with it ...

I remember that buzz when I was in grammar school when I was on detention for one reason or antoher, and making copies was one of my punishments

The last grocery store I shopped at, had them, but it wasnt the green stamps anymore - they were the green stamp points that you collected-- on line... The original green stamps used to be fun.. mom would hand us blank books, and a brown paper bag full of the stamps and let us go to town on a rainy afternoon...

Oh yeah...I remember well those rainy afternoons, licking and sticking and licking and sticking and licking and...welll...you get the idea. Remember how "stiff" those redemption books got when they were filled? I remember it being so much fun...but for the life of me...I couldn't tell you why.

Wasnt Land of the Lost a cartoon about dinosaurs? If so, even at 21, I remember that one. I know of a lot of the others, but have never seen them.

EDIT: And M.A.S.H. is immortal... That was too great to ever die, or stop being appreciated... I hope anyway, lol.

Land of the Lost was a live action show- with a blonde haired girl in pigtails..and her older brother who was kind of a greg brady wannabe...(in his johnny bravo stage) the two kids, with their archaeologist father were on a routine expedition and an earthquake hit.. and chaos ensued weekly..

Johnny Bravo...O M G. My brain had selectively lost that bid of Brady Bunch memory. And...for very good reason.
