Gullible
True story from my high school days, only the names have been changed.
Scene 1: John: "Did you know that 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary?" Mary: "Really?" Everyone else in room laughs at Mary. Scene 2: Mary: "Did you know that 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary?" David: "Of course it isn't, 'gullible' is a French word." Mary: "Really?" Everyone else in room laughs at Mary.

Actually did you know they really are considering taking gullible out in the next edition? Apparently some anthropologist discovered that two lexicons got mixed some time back, ours and one somehow related to muslim origin, and because of the terrorist/political stuff going on they want to replace it with something more "American" like they did with freedom fries. It's ridiculous.
