I just cancelled my EQ account after leaving the game in early 2003. I had the Sony All Access pass and played Planetside for almost a year and last year I played EQ2 for a couple of months before getting tired of playing and switched to WoW.

I never could bring myself to cancel the account, but finally realized that I wasn't going to play any of these games anymore.

Anyone out there still paying to play a game that they no longer play?

*Raises hand* I finally cancelled my account for FFXI a while back. I loved the game but once I started back at school I had more important things to do. Not to mention $20 a month adds up after a while. I think I paid for my account for about three months after I had quit playing. While that is only 60 bucks I just couldn't see myself shelling out the cash every month and getting nothing out of it.
The good part is that if I ever have time to start playing again I have a year from my cancel date before Square will delete my chars.

eh as soon as I stop playing WoW I cancel my account. it will always be there when I get back. I've quit twice now and came back. if you have the money to let game subscriptions eat up your account without playing the games themselves, send some over to my paypal
