Also in no order:
Team Fortress Classic (PC)- oh yes. It was with this game that I honed my rocket launching skills as a soldier Super Mario 64 (64)- nobody's done a 3d platformer better since Quake 3 (PC)- the perfect multiplayer game. great physics, map set, weapon balance, fun fun fun Tony Hawk 2 (PC)- while 4 may be the best in the series, I played the most of 2, and it seemed the most magical. got all the gaps too, thank you very much Virtua Fighter 2 (PC)- first PC game I ever bought, owned only that for about 9 months. Figured out that you could edit the background images and such by exploring the install directory, very fun Tie Fighter (PC) - the golden age of Lucasarts, and one of the best games they made. Took a long time to beat, but oh so fun along the way. Jedi Knight (PC) - remember when The Zone was fun? this was the number one game on the zone for like a year, and I helped. Tetris (GB) - the original tetris, on the original clunky white gameboy. probably put more hours on that than any other game Super Mario Allstars (Snes) - this still gets fired up from time to time on trusty zsnes. all the fun of the original nes games, but acceptable graphics Giants (PC) - didn't sell incredibly well, but was such a great game. So beautiful, it still stands up in aesthetics. Playing as the 3 different classes was fun, and the RTS elements were great. |

1. Final Fantasy Tactics
2. Zelda SNES version 3. Suikoden 4. Zelda 1 NES version 5. Shining Force II 6. Final Fantasy VII 7. Final Fantasy III (from U.S. version) 8. Chrono Trigger 9. Super Mario Bros. 3 10. Baseball Stars (NES) DRAGON WARRIOR III We need a bigger list for Tecmo Bow, God of War, Tomb Raider, Metroid+super version, Resident Evil and so many other games! Also, I hate all of you that habe more than 2 games of modern generation systems in your list. And I also hate anyone who put Ocarina of Time without mention NES or SNES version of Zelda or FF with no mention of the early games. Last edited by Justsomeguy; 11-10-2005 at 07:41 PM.. |

I'd like to try, too. Mostly in chronological order...
1. Archon. 2. Ultima II. 3. Ultima III. 4. LucasArts Raid on Fractalus. 5. LucasArts Ballblazer 6. Mechwarrior II (all hail the advent of Win95!!!) God, I loved the mechanical female voice... 7. Max Payne 1. 8. Warcraft III. 9. Call of Duty. 10. Battlefield 2. So, my lust peaked early in the computer heyday. But, at that time, i would stay up ALL NIGHT playing Ultima III, because he had the Apple IIe, or whatever, and I couldn't let go. Not until I could do Ultima on my C64, was I hooked... Would still love to rediscover the amazement of MW2 - it had a magical sense of challenge and mystery. I guess I miss the software-rendered polygonal adversaries. But damn, MW2 was the best gaming experience of my ENTIRE LIFE. Had the FF joystick, tho. |

Oh dear... a long time since I've been on the forum.
Well, here is my top 10 (affected slightly by what i've been playing most recently). I'm definately saying these aren't the top ten for everyone, but they are pretty much for me. 1. Starcraft 2. Kingdom of Loathing (the most fun you can have on the internet without graphics!) 3. Final Fantasy VII 4. Fallout 2 5. Final Fantasy 3/6 Here it gets hard... 6. Mario Kart 64 7. Super Smash Bros. Mellee 8. Soul Calibur II 9. Guilty Gear XX 10. Rome Total War The latter part of the list is more of what I've been into now, while the former is really what sticks with me as enjoyable through the years.
