Installation Error with Yuri's Revenge. [I know this is old.. but..]
 

Hi,

I know this is an old, outdated, why am I still playing it now? kinda game. Well my bro wants to play it, and I did install RA2 and then Yuri's Revenge and everything. The game is installed, whatever possible cracks found to try run it without CD.

But then, when the executable for the game is executed [haha..] , it's trying to load [a black screen appears] .. and then.. I return to windows!

What gives?

How do I fix this? My bro won't stop bugging me. Thanks loads..~

What happens when you don't use a no-cd crack? Those things are notoriously funky.

Yeah, I'd give it a try without the no-CD crack, if you haven't already. I had the same problem, so I just got rid of the crack and ran it from CD every time.

Kinda funny, because I just recently installed that game and played it through also.
