PSP UMD movie prices announced
http://www.modojo.com/articles/news/24/
For the lazy: XXX, Hellboy, Resident Evil 2 and Once Upon A Time In Mexico will be $20. |
What a load of happy horseshit!
I don't pay that much for dvd's. |
umm... no thanks.
(sorry i haven't something more eloquent to say to this) |
*sigh* no word on Advent Children... that'd be the only UMD I'd get. Of course, I need a PSP first...
|
It's great that this portable game thingy can play movies on the go, but will people really buy their favorite movies AGAIN so that they can watch them on the go? Aren't portable DVD players cheaper than PSP? And the battery life isn't lond enough to play Lord of the Rings. I think I'll stick to the gaming.
|
why even bother... the thing supports memory sticks and video playback off of them. so, just compress a movie onto a 512mb stick and givver....
|
woah wait..20 bucks. Isn't that more than a DVD at, and the only real difference is that its smaller and I CANT play it on anything else? Fun..

Little pricey, but a nice handy format, especially for long car/plane/train rides. |
I'm going with the "hurry up and wait" approach to purchasing this. I almost think this system could tank. It's pricey, has battery life issues, I think I'll see this at least after the first price drop.
So says the guy who got burned on Sega's Game Gear. Yeah...I'm the guy who bought that. |

I'm a Nintendo fan, but I think the PSP is gonna dominate the handheld market, pricey or not, they have LOADS of good launch titles. |
i do think the psp will sell well but i will not buy any of these movies.... ill just stick to putting movies in the pro duo card
|
I'm sure that there's people dumb enough to buy them.
