Oddworld: Strangers Wrath
I just picked up this game recently, being a fan of the original Oddworld, and I have to say I like it alot. In fact, I'm going to call it one of the biggest sleeper hits. It didn't get much press but its a hell of a game, so give it at try.

Yeah it's awesome. I'm not too wild about the voices. Stranger sounds like a retarded cowboy.

talk about no press....i've been waiting for this game since i beat MUNCH and i didn't even realize it came out yet :) I may just take a trip over to that big blue and yellow rental place tomorrow.

it gets very difficult capturing the outlaws alive...well the bosses anyway.

ok i had to resort to putting the invincible cheat on. packrat, i thought was hard...well X'plosives is even worse.

There was only one boss I killed, and that it was on accident. As for the voices, I think its supposed to be some kind of twisted homage to john wayne movies where they all talked slow.

just ordered this sounds good. Hadnt even heard of it to tell the truth, sure is a sleeper.

There wasn't much news about it before release, but I've been reading a lot of good things about it in the past week or so.
I remember playing the very first one, and the voices will never leave my head: "Follow me" "Ok" |
the ending was pretty lame. i wont go into a spoiler but for those who finished it what were you thoughts. granted the final boss and getting up to him is hard but thx the video game god for cheats

May aswell give this a quick bump as I have just started playing.
This is my first experience of the Oddworld franchise and it seems okay. Sad news is that Oddworld Inhabitants have apparently pulled out of the videogame market to conentrate on CGI movies. Next gen Abe would have nice too |
love all the oddworld stuff miss the gamespeak though
waiting for oddworld fangus if it ever comes out or maybe a new game ft. abe and munch again real cool game though ... |
i keep meaning to pick this up, but havent gotten around to it yet, im looking forward to it though especially after seeing what everyone has been saying about it.

I absolutely can't wait to see what Oddworld Inhabitants do with their world and the tech. Can you imagine weekly Abe and Munch?!..omg..that woudl be amazing

I read alot about previous Oddworld games but never played them.
I just started playing Strangers Wrath and I"m loven the charactors already. If a video game has a story...I like em silly and weird. Well, thats oddworld. I might even check out some other titles as well |
