HDTV PS2 Cables... how to use them?
I have the component video cables for the PS2, but I'm wondering how the hell you get the PS2 into that mode..
I have the green/blue/red video cables plugged properly into my HDTV input (Video 4) and the red/white audio cables in the same region, however, when I turn my TV to that channel, it's all scrambled.. this, of course, because the PS2 isn't in the mode it should be in. So... does anyone have any idea how to get the video to display properly? Also, my PS2 has the output to "Y-Cr-Cb", not 'RGB', but still no go.. scrambled on the HD channel.

Ah, nevermind... I figured it out. I need to have one set of cables (RGB) going to standard input, then another going to HDTV.
If the game has prog scan mode and I set it, I need to switch the cables quickly and change the video input, then it shows up! Although, that's kinda dumb... they should've just made the PS2 output in that mode anyway. It's a pain having to switch cables/channels like that for each game I wanna play in that mode.
