Hey all,

I just got sims2 tonight and installed it, and after playing it for a few minutes I noticed my sims are talking a strange language. I think it is just gibberish but it could be french (same difference

), having never played the original sims I was wondering if this is normal or if I have a setting wrong. I could not find a place to change the language.

On install I did notice one of the first things it asks you is what language. I thought I chose English, but am not positive. All the type is in English though.

On a side note what I have played of this game is awesome. I just did the few tutorials at the beginning but am looking forward to playing more. I also made a sim that looks so much like me that it is scary! I will try and post a pic sometime.

simlish, it's based off Navajo, or so the legend says...

Yea, they had to make "simlish" to make it universal for all countries. It pretty much is just a bunch of gibberish. I noticed it too, in the first game, but didnt really think much of it.

You'll find yourself speaking SIM in no time. I know I did after endless hours with the first game.

I reinstalled the original Sims 5 times thinking I had some language setting wrong.

Heh addicting game... i spent 5 hours last night just trying to move around the house i bought... its tough getting used to the controls in the game...
