Man I think he is talking about selecting a transfer and paying for it. Hmm not sure if they are ever gonna do that. At least it doesnt seem that way. All they have been doing is tranfers from high pop to low pop servers.

There have been rumors of Blizzard allowing such "pay-to-switch" options. There's no reason for Blizzard not to do it, it just gives them more money for a very simple thing to do that also would increase player satisfaction. Why would they not?

The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink but then held it out over the beer and yelled "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT, YOU BASTARD!" |

Blizzard has <I>publicly</I> stated that they're gonna allow transfers from any server to any server for a fee. They stated that this may be a good while from now, but it is coming at some point.

Hey Lasereth, I was thinking about coming back, maybe trying end game raiding. Any room in your guild for a rogue? He's lvl 60 if you dont remember, equiped in pre raiding gear of blues and greens. I've been to MC once, and some 5 man stuff, so not a complete newb to raiding.

Not sure what our recruitment policy is but we do have a lack of rogues that are willing to come to MC everytime. I'll check on it.

Mage question for you guys... Seretogis.. Redjake, others.
in a full MC clear last night, I spent some DKP on a Ring of Spell Power. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=19147 now, I was wondering which would be the better combo, I also have a: Don Rodrigo's Band http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21563 and a Freezing Band http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=942 which would be the bast combo to use? With the Spell power, and the freezing band, I get +54 spell damage... but the Don Rod's band, the -20 resistances is nice right? Also 70HP, and +1% to crit... I am perplexed help a fellow mage out.

Personally i would go Don Rodrigo's Band & Ring of Spell Power. But thats just me, I'm and arcane/fire mage. As a frost mage i could see why you would go Freezing Band / Ring of Spell Power.. i don't know if many people have cold resists that are very high. As a fire mage people tend to have high resists so the -20 would help a lot and the +spell dmg is just always nice. I really like the +sta on the Don Ridrigo's Band.

yeah, the stam is nice, but 70 extra HPs really don't help me too much, also, the +to crit is almost useless with shatter (+50% to crit on frozen targets)
890-900ish regular frostbolts make me want as much +damage as I can get, switch on Arcane Power..gg 2600 crits

Damn very cool pic!
I just started getting into PvP fun, got to love those sweet rewards and finally I found a part of the game, with much more challange. I loved in EQ the race for spawns against guilds etc... And really missed that aspect in WoW. While in this one you are racing more for titles, rewards, and well fighting someone else, I didn't realize how much fun it was. |

There are currently 6 (technically now 9, if you could quest-related) world bosses. The 4 green dragons that spawn that the emerald dream portals, Kazzak in blasted lands and Azuergos (sp?), a blue dragon who spawns in Azshara. The fights that people get into over them on my server are hilarious. About two spawns of Az ago, there were no fewer than 5 guilds (two horde, three alliance) all fighting over him and trying to hold the tag long enough to bring him down. It was awesome.
In other news, my guild brought Nef down. We're way behind Sere's, but it felt good nonetheless. |

No kidding Cyn? Yeah, WG can be a really good time. I enjoy it because when 2-3 of my friends join me, you can really make a difference throughout the entire BG.
Making a difference with 2-3 people in AV is a lot harder. It can be done, especially with ninja'n GYs and such, but I enjoy the team concept in WG more.

Our guild killed Ragnaros for the first time last night. YEAH!!!!!! I got the Onslaught Girdle from Ragnaros and the Obsidian Edged Blade from Golemagg last night. My first 2 epics!!!
I about shit my pants. The OEB is a HUGE upgrade from the Arcanite Reaper in terms of damage and sword spec. I'm also halfway to rank 10 now and should be 3/5 of the way or further tomorrow.

Despite my previous post(s) in this thread, I'm starting to contemplate signing up to play just so I can play with you guys. Now that I have a credit card, I can just buy a year and forget the fact that I paid $15/month. Thing is; I don't know if my computer can handle it. I have an integrated graphics chip (no video card), and even though I bought my computer within the last half-year, I wasn't able to play Counter Strike: Source when I bought it. I don't want to make the same mistake again.
So my question to you: Is playing WoW on a computer w/ integrated video even possible?

It would have to be a decent integrated video ... and make sure you have at least a gig fo no shared RAM. you can get a video card for $70 or so that would fit the build.
if you think about joining hop on the Thunderlord server and come on over to the horde side.. wife and i are guild leaders of <DEAD sexy> .. 580 people that love to play. |

cool how do you like your guild on Nerzul? when they open character transfers I need to find a home for a 60 Human Warrior i have on Kel Thuzad.
I'm considering Stonemaul since i have a 40 Night Elf Priest there, but then i'd have to move my 26 'lock from Kel Thuzad too |
