Ya, it didnt work. How long ago did it work for you? And can you describe exactly what you did? Like which key, the arrow key or A key? Were any of the numbers pushed down as well or any other keys? Did you have anyone selected? Thanks.

I still don't think the PVP in WoW sucks...I think it's the best any MMORPG has ever offered. In other MMOs a priest can't fight without a warrior. In WoW they can. Each class has a chance against every other class. What IS ruined right now is the honor system, but I've gave up on that and am now just gonna do what I want, when I want. I'm installing WoW right now.

Good god. We have mages in our raid who have been waiting for the mageblade to drop for months. It hasn't dropped once and we're starting on BWL now. If all goes well, we may get that thing before the fucking mageblade drops. Heh.

Awesome Seretogis.

Our guild is finally rolling pretty hard. We've gotten Rag the past two weeks with the prior being our first, Onyxia is lolonyxia, and we also killed the tiger, panther, and hakkar in ZG for the first time as well. We're starting to bring in lots of purples constantly and we're only getting stronger. It's a good feeling seeing that there's been handfulls of drama to get here

I'm just bored with the game, I can barely bring myself to play 3 hours a day yet it takes longer than that for a rogue to find a group for anything so it's either a PUG arathi basin or solo pvp in the plaguelands and that sucks because there's so few people out soloing now. Maybe my classes will be given a little love by the time expansion comes around..

I'm going hardcore PVP since I returned. Me and my druid and paladin friends are doing AB a lot. I got 120,000 CPs last week and skipped a rank! I'm going for Knight-Captain so I can get the leggings and chestplate. Hell I might go further since I have a lot of school breaks coming up. AB isn't that bad...unlike WSG and AV. I still miss open-world PVP, but it's refreshing to be able to rank up spending the same amount of time as pre-BGs, just in a more concentrated environment. Oh, and lost the roll on the Valor BP to a 58 warrior last night. WEE!! Ha ha.

Lvl 60 pvp sucks for most people/classes. Even rogues. (Unless you are epic geared and roll with a group/guild that works really well together)

Yeah, I heard Rogues have it the worst out of any class when it comes to reaching lv 60.

While you can keep playing the game w/ other classes, it's pretty much "game over" for Rogues because they're somewhat out of place in certain groups (or so I've read).

There's a LOT of people voicing their opinions and complaining about it, so I'm guessing it's a valid problem.

I'll agree with rogues having it the worst at 60 concerning PvE and groups, but in PVP, they're still the strongest PVP class. Not because of their overall damage (even though it is high), not because of their stuns (even though they're powerful), but simply because rogues choose when and where they fight. If they know they can't win, they can vanish and sprint away. Even if they're DoT'ed and the vanish breaks, they're still sprinting away and will be out of combat before anyone catches up.

Pick up group end game play and guild-raid end game play are two very different things. Rogues generally have problems with PUGs because PUGs are uncoordinated and are basically 5-15 people doing what they would do alone but in a group so that all of them are kind of doing the same thing. That means the rogues pull aggro, which means that healers spam heals and then the rogue dies and then the healer dies. Game, set, match. So if you're going for unguilded end game PvE, then yeah, being a rogue is going to suck.

If you get into a guild that is coordinated and on TS or vent and knows what it is doing, you're going to be a valued DPS class that is all but required for some fights. Anyone ever try to take down Hexxar without a decent number of rogues? It's very difficult. Sure, you have to pay attention to getting high FR gear so AoE stuff in MC won't fry your pretty little face, but that's part of the job description. Endgame in WoW is VERY different than 0-60 for every class. DPS classes need to take their aggro levels very seriously. Mana-users need to learn mana control for 5 to 20 minute fights. Paladins and shamans need to learn that they're healers and not DPS classes. And tanking Onyxia is a far cry from tanking Baron Rivendare or Princess or Von Cleef.

Find a good group of people to play with and adapt to your class's new functionality at 60. They're not any harder or any easier than anyone else and they're far from useless. I wish people would stop making sweeping ridiculous statements that they are.

I've recently gone along on an MC run where most of the people are just starting out. I went as Feral DPS. I out-DPSed the rogues during trash mobs. I had to go healbot during the boss fights though.

Too bad all the good feral epics are in BWL.

Oh good once every 5 mins I can escape, woop de do, too bad I like to fight more than once every 5 minutes. Maybe if pvp death meant something that'd be nice.

For any who read, Lasereth is really talking about solo or small group in world pvp, which there is very little of now a days as blizzard stresses large group pvp in BGs. It's a valid viewpoint, but one few people participate in anymore. BGs are a whole lot different than ganking someone fighting a mob that's trying to level. In large group pvp stunlock is crap (takes too long), you fight way more than once every 5 mintues, and you don't really get to choose when to fight, only who to target first. And half the classes can approach your damage pretty easily.

Frossbyte, I dunno about you, but Ive never really seen aggro as that big a problem for rogues in PUGs or otherwise. The problem is rogues usually arnt worth the hassle (mana and a healers attention) of keeping alive (from AOEs). We really need some kind of evasion like in DnD that gives us a chance to dodge or take half damage from AOEs.

Well you guys said 60 PVP sucks, not 60 BGs sucks for rogues, so that's why I posted that. I think BGs sucks for all classes. If you're attacking a flag that is defending, you usually die immediately no matter what class you are. Hell, if you attack a single horde that is on defense mode, you're usually gonna lose simply because they always call for reinforcements ASAP. The BGs are boring as fuck, but it's the only way to compete in the honor system.

I know, sucks

However, while I havn't played every class, I have gotten a good feel with the hunter in BGs, and let me tell you, it is so refreshing. I very rarely die, my last WSG my score was something like 24 KBs and 2 deaths (one of the top scores. We lost too, so it wasn't because we were dominating). And it was all because of range, I have the +6 yards or whatever range talent and just tried to make sure I was always near max. They could rarely touch me, if I had a healer even half heartedly watching my health (I got literally like 1 heal the whole time) I would have never died. My point is BGs seem to suck the most for melees.

For comparision, with my rogue I can get near the top KBs as well, but my deaths almost always match it or come close.

Ya melee's seem to have it the worst in BGs being at range FTW. Love it I played a rouge up to 60 and then now am leveling a hunter and even though the strats are different being at range out of the mix so much is a lot better in large scale PVP. Seems but warriors will live forever with a good healer backing them up rogues are paper once out of stealth they are a target and dead. And so much knocks them out of stealth its not even funny. Hope they get to rouges soon as I would love to be back in the ganking buisness.

Yeah, BGs can be fun, but ONLY if you have a good healer with you...and by good, I mean one that heals you when a horde attacks, not just when your HP gets low. I was grouped with two paladins and a shadow priest last night and we simply devastated any group that came near us. One time we had 2 groups of 4 attack us back to back without a break and the four of us killed all 8. It was awesome. The paladins shielded even when they weren't low HP...but when their heals were interrupted. They'd shield just to be able to heal ME. That's a good paladin, a good team player, and someone who knows how to rack in the CPs. The shadow priest would switch out of shadow form, shield me, heal the paladins, and then switch back in in the blink of an eye. I hope to group with them more. Being at range does suck...it makes group PVP a pain without the aforementioned crew.

First, that Leeroy video had me in absolute stitches. I don't know who slipped that in there or why or how, but damn, that's genius. Shame on those kids for not knowing the answer.

Second, the hunter epic quest is a horrible pain in my ass. I've done two of the demons and I know how to do the one in Silithus, but the Winterspring demon kicks me in the balls every time. I must be on my fourth or fifth series of attempts on him and I'm nowhere close. Somewhere in the 70% range is the best I can seem to get. Kiting has never been a strategy that I've used much, especially staying at maximum range like is necessary here (yes, I lose to warriors in PvP all the time because of that).

Fortunately or unfortunately, my inability to not be a newb has been a moot point because we can't get Onyxia to drop a mature black dragon sinew anyway. Ah well.

Well, I cancelled my account the other day. Several reasons for this--I had become bored with the grind, didn't have time to devote 4+ hours to instance running, and my internet connection currently sucks, so I couldn't really play without lagging anyways.

I might come back when I get better internet. I'd really like to make it to 60, but there's just not really anything compelling me
