While I'm not a total PvP'er I do enjoy the hunt, I've had a few experiences with PvP in the past few days and want to hear your tales also. I'll start out with a few.

First experience was when I'm running through the barrens on my way to Ratchet to complete a test. I stop to fight a beast to get some meat for my pet. A rogue destealths, backstabs and then evicerates me...dead!


Stonetalon mountains, I'm out gathering ore and killing whatever is in my path. I see two alliance scumbags standing below me on the path, they're both around 20 and I'm 22 so I figure what the hell...they havent seen me yet. I set up a frost trap and run at them, take a concussion shot at one of them it stuns him and his buddy takes off after me. I try lead him to the trap but he avoids it and comes at me with a charge so me and my pet go melee. Here's where he makes his mistake...he goes after my pet. I step back, fire off all my attacks and he falls to the might of the Horde...Lok'Tar!! Now I have the other guy to deal with. Lucky for me when he was stunned a spider attacked him so that kept him busy. I make my way back to him and send in the pet for a distraction. Fire off my special attacks and he is at low health, concussion shot and then I huck a stick of dynamite at him BOOOM!!! Night Elf paste.

The call goes out, three or four alliance scumbags outside of crossroads. I run out to defend the glory of the Horde. I get a mark off on the pally so he gets taken down rather quickly but his mage friend takes off. I smack aspect of cheeta and take off after him, he gets in range and I fire a concussion shot. Here's where things go bad. While I load up my next shots he polymorphs me into a sheep! I sit there and bounce around while he takes a drink of milk to get his mana back...I watch as he then stands up and makes Orc flambe.

All in all it's good fun PvP. Sure I've been ganked by people 10 levels above me but hell..thats the price you pay on a PvP server!

On the last day of Beta, I got on my 51 Mage for some good times and great oldies.


The Horde attacked Menethil Harbor (probably 15 level 60s) and we were defenseless. I was in Arathi Highlands, so I made my way over and got pwned. A level 51 versus 10 level 60s doesn't fare too well. Then, they left (got on the boat to Auberdine). After a small gathering of high level Alliance, we headed off after them. When we got there, the entire town of Auberdine was dead.




My PvP had flagged off by then (I was on the non-PvP original beta server). Targeted a level 60 tauren warrior, Combustion + Pyroblast, Fireblast, Blastwave, he dropped. On to the next person. 60 Priest. Fireball, Fireball, Fireball, Fireblast, Blast Wave, Frost Nova, Scorch, dead. NEXT. Got killed by a warrior that broke out of my Frost Nova (killed me in three swings). Resurrected, killed a 56 Warlock in 4 hits.



Then the entire town spawned again. We (the 6 or 7 high level Alliance characters) and the NPC Auberdine characters slaughter-pwned the entire Horde group. Logged off, deleted my character.

Ok, During OB, I'm in Darkshore/Auberdine, then I decide to head south for a few quests, and I'm off the main road killing and skinning as I go. I get about 20-30 feet off the main road, and notice a LOT of red comming up the road. I'm a lvl 19 NE Rogue, so I stealth asap, and sneak closer for a better look. What do I see, but 3 Horde Undead Warlock/Orc Shaman/Orc Rogue, all lvl 15-18 I figured they want to make it to Darkshore and start messing with all the lvl 10-13 people there. I sneak closer, and closer until I am 5-6 feet away, they stopped to kill a bear for a sec, and they were laughing alot, or at least it sounded like laughing, probably thinking about ganking some poor lvl 9s. I sprang into action, sapped the Shaman, (stunned for 45 seconds) gouge the Rogue, sinister strike, sinister strike, blade fury, sinister strike gouge evicerate...dead undead rogue. the warlock has just about conjured his pet, so I run up and kick him to stop the cast for 5 seconds, and repeat the process that I used to kill the Rogue, the shaman has just become un-sapped, so I start sinister striking him as well, he takes off running, and drops a slow totem, which I focus on and bring down quick, he's pretty far ahead now, so I turn on the afterburners (Sprint +60% speed for 15 seconds) and catch up to him in no time flat, backstab, he turns around to fight, and I gouge, SS, SS, Eviserate...

GG Horde. I hope they were talking about the Griefing Rogue who wouldn't even let them get a hit in edgewise...
