I heard some of you guys talking about Shadowbane, so I googled it. Turns out you can download the game and play for 15 days for free. I'm SO downloading it right now. All MMORPGs should do this. Cuz if you drop $50 on a game like Lineage, then end up hating it, then you're screwed. This way, I can see if the game is worth my money first. Just thought I'd let you know incase anyone else wanted to try it.

Okay. I installed and played the game for about 2 minutes, and already I realize why it is free to try. It's not good.

Its not like it will be a lot out of your wallet even if its not good. Its $1.97 Canadian. :lol:

I actually played this game for a couple months. It is ugly as sin, but I guess the strange races had me interested. I'm not a big MMORPG guy, in fact I pretty much despise them, but I guess I wanted something new to play. After a while though, it just becomes the same old shit. Kill monsters, take loot, sell, buy stuff, rinse, repeat. Blah.

A friend of mine plays or rather played for several months and his biggest gripe about the game was the player killers. He says he'd play working to level up his characters and then some punk group of PK's would kill him and the cost to revive and restore all of the character points was too much.
