The game isn't shit. That's just your opinion. I like it, and so do quite a few other people.

They slowed down the release of keys to take some of the load off the servers. They are putting more new servers up and will probably start sending keys out quickly.

I play on the Sieghardt server as Razerwind. I highly recommend giving it a try once the e-mails are sent again. I haven't decided if I'm gonna play it once it goes retail, but I'm leaning towards "yes."

Lasereth, did they fix the problem with the college lag? If so I may give it a shot.

They fixed it "a bit." Now the lag is less than a second, but yes, it's still there. I'm glad they added more servers...it looks like even distribution of players helps the college lag issue as well. I'd play it now; the lag is fixed enough so that the lag is only a minor annoyance. It never impairs the gameplay. A couple of weeks ago it was unplayable...so they sure as hell did something to fix it aside from adding new servers. I went home and played on my DSL (which is WAY slower than my college Internet connection) and there wasn't a millisecond of lag, so I know how it should play on college campuses too.

But yes, it's playable now, and yes, it's worth giving it a shot.

I saw my friend play, and I saw that when he was makin his character.. there were like 2 faces and 2 hair styles for every race.. 2 each?.. thass soo little.. Is the final version gonna have more variety? I know the weapons and armor make everyone look a bit diff.. but if all the hair styles and faces are the same.. I think it'll be .. annoying?

ok i am sorry now for this comment, i tried the game myself and it did already make alot of fun .. i play it with my GF thats the best way to play these games anyway

BUT it is running really bad with my Radeon 9700 , the pc of my GF with an Geforce 4600 is running way better .. strange

so after playing even more i stopped now completly

a) the game looks great

but i feel there is to less content and i am not interested to get pked by some 12 year old who hunts the noob zones


i will look forward to wow and eq2 where the game is focused on
player vs enviroment


p.s i will miss the strings of the dark elf babes

I played it for a little the other day... eh. It's kind of boring (although I'm only level 6, so maybe it gets better). My idea of fun is not running around and double clicking on things, then watching the same fight I've seen 50 times before.

I might give it another shot today... BTW, where can I buy new weapons and armor (no one on the server I was on would help a poor newbie out)? I'm a dwarf.
