im stuck in the game...help needed before i got mad

ive just started the 2nd cd...tifa is locked in the poison gas chair, im playimg this on the PC(not PS) and it seems that key combos are not inputted....
how do i get tifa out of there?

ive already checked out the faqs...it tells me what to do...not HOW to do it...
plus, all the walkthrus there r for the PS, not PC
hasnt neone played ff7 on a pc here?

I have and I've beaten it, but I don't remember that part exactly to know where you may be having a problem. In fact, I don't think I had a problem there But it was about 6 months ago so I could have just forgotten. Sorry.

reminder:cloud just gave sephiroth the black materia, all my group has been capturd and taken to junon. tifa was put in the excecution chamber(and scarlet slaps her)...just then 'weapon' attacks....then there is a long cutscene of junon's main cannon firing on it without having any effect...barret/yuffie/caitsith goto th airport but find a dead end.....just after this tifa's scene comes on with the poison gas started, a key just infront of her
i got the key but cant pick it up

did you complete it on the PC or the PS?

Ive played both, and just finished that part myself on pc. You just need to wiggle out free, so push the key that moves your legs, you want to go back and forth with these two buttons.
