Has Anyone seen the Max Payne alternate ending?
I played thru the game, and much enjoyed it, but I'm a bit too lazy to play thru long enough to see the alternate ending.
can anyone give me a quick run down of it? (I will admit, I was Spoiler: disapointed that Mona died. I'm just a happy ending junkie, I guess |
I thought it was great, the final line by Max was brilliant. I'm playing through the game every now and again to be able to see the alternative ending, you have to clock it two more times after the first time to get it.

Err.... Anyone want to clue me in on what takes place in the alternate ending?
I guess I could look it up, but someone was bound to ask. |

I gotta get my game back out now! |
If you really want to know
Spoiler!!! Mona didn't die. |
The alternate ending is only a few slides different. Not worth recompleting the game for.

There are so many other great games out there, as soon as I finish one I am on to the next one even before I finish, or don't finish if it sucks. Let's see if I can remember all the games I recently played (not incl demos) Max Payne 2 Jedi: Outcast Jedi: Academy Simpsons: Hit and Run XIII Call of Duty Enter the Matrix Postal 2 Rainbow 6:Raven Sheild Splinter Cell GTA III GTA Vice City Tiger Woods 2004 Wolverine Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Hmm, there maybe 3 or 4 missing, but of that list I think I finished all but 3. Enter the Matrix being one of them and by far the worst game I played all year. |
one thing I'm not sure on, do you just have to play thru 3 times? or do you have to beat it on a specific difficulty level? (that's what I heard, and why I wasn't planning on doing it)
|
Yup, your normal way through once, then once on the next difficulty setting (Hard Boiled I think) then the following one once and you should get your alternate ending.
|
so are you guys talking about max payne 2 or max payne?
|
