As i am an Everquest addict i am now looking for something todo while our guild is not raiding. Well i tried so many stuff, got myselg a GC,XBOX,GBA but nothing has this epic feeling in the games i played there.

Than as i finished the latest episode of Farscape i though abou how cool would be a nice Space Sim. I first looked at alot of reviews of X2 but i thought this would be cool to be in the MMRPG range but i wont invest so many time for a single player game .. so i looked about an alternative, than it came back to my mind ... EVE ONLINE, i was in the beta but never really played it so i read a lot of reviews.

Alot of people complained about how boring it would be, but maybe this boring is right that what i am looking for. So i just downloaded it for 20 $ and started.

I am so happy i tried it, it is the elite feeling i have now .. i have so many things i can do , so many things to see and the gfx is simply outstanding. A large community is powering this game and it feels really polished .. so all who ever loved Elite , and also accepts a realistic space sim where you maybe have to travel 30 minutes from gate to gate to reach your goal this game is for you.

You can play this game your style and if you wish watch tv while your big mother ships mines and or start out to hunt down some pirates, maybe you start to be one of em ... simply great

get yourself informed and give it a try ... its awesome (at least for me as MMRPG Junkie)

p.s. FARSCAPE is the best SCIFIE Series outthere , i cant believe they canceld the 5th season

It got really boring and pathetic. It has a great economy for being a game. There isnt much to look at besides space. And well after you get to see all the different color rocks, you ask yourself. Yeap am i bored?

I didnt play it past the free trial.

You will be so bored in about 3 weeks it will make you cry irl . The games graphics and economy system were great, however, the combat blew, mining is dull, and traveling is unbelievably slow. They made the map far too huge and you will feel very alone once you move out of the newbie area.

Yea..same complaints I've heard. Perhaps if they worked on the combat engine or threw in some warrring elements or pirate captin fights then I'd be dragged in

there is so much stuff to do .... in the next big update you can even build your own stations
