My vote goes to Chrono Trigger, one of the best Soundtracks IMO, especially the Kingdom of Zeal music, I have that as my ringtone.

Mmmm, good old Chrono Trigger. Every time I hear Robo's theme I feel like dancing.

By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a nokia phone would you? If so, I'd like to steal that ringtone from you. My FF7 ringtone is getting boring plus everyone who doesn't recognize it thinks it's annoying as hell.

Well i love the Final Fantasy Series' music. Besides that maybe Vice City just because there is a channel to please just about anyone.

Ghosts & Goblins theme, or the funky Maximo remix thereof, the orchestra version of the Zelda theme from Wind Waker, and most anything from Gitaroo Man. There was also a certain song from the first Ninja Gaiden I really like, but if it has a name I don't know it. It played in the level after Jaquio dropped Ryu into the dungeon, and also during the end credits.

Right on, all those are great! In my dorm we boot up the menu screen to Halo, switch the audio to my speakers, turn it up loud, and open the door- that way we get at least a 4 player game in a couple of minutes :)

Magus' theme music from Chrono Trigger really got me going, back in the day!

Personally I also like the new UT 2004 Deathmatch music..

Chrono Trigger has the best sound track out of any game, period.

Final Fantasy VII in a close second.

Metal Gear Solid 1/2 in a close third.

The UT2004 music is rocking this time around.

Halo is excellent as well.

The music from Final Fantasy 7 still has my vote for best soundtrack

its not my favorite, but everytime I hear the Mario music (or anything close to it) I cant stop humming it for days...

i know its not strictly music, but i like Amy on KCHAT in GTA Vice City.

i also love the Classical radio station in GTA3.
