No CD Patches
I hate having to put a CD in my drive to play a game. I prefer to install the game and put my CD away to avoid damage. Up until yesterday www.warezSite.com was a great place to find "No-CD Patches" so I could to exactly that. Howver, if you go there now (and I don't recommend you do) it's turned into a link library and is effectivly useless.
Some games like "UT2K3" included a "No-CD Patch" in one of their patches but many games like my newly aquired "Prince of Persia" do not. My point is that I don't think this thread is in contravention to the "No Warez" policy of the TFP. Does anyone know of a legit site where "No-CD" patches can be found? |
Sorry can't help you. I share your frustration though. I didn't even know these types of patches were available. Well, now I know. TY

I wish game manufactures would stop using the safedisc copy protection. It is absolutely useless seeing how that when people want to steal the software, they find a way.
