NFL Street~?
:D I love EA, I love EA Big, I love Madden, I love NBA Street, will I love NFL Street?
w3rd. This game looks pretty cool, I hope it plays nicely too.. It comes out January 15th if i'm not mistaken~ What're you're takes on it? |
NFL Street = Worst. Idea. EVER.
Let Midway handle the arcade NFL games please, Electronic Arts. |
The game sounds like a neat idea, I don't know if it will replace Blitz as the NFL party game though...
Blitz with a few buddies is one hell of a good time in my book anyday :) |
What's supposed to be so special about NFL Street? I haven't seen any commercials or heard anything about it.
|
I hate the idea of getting trick points in a football game.
|
IGN gave it a 9 out of 10. Sounds good to me! I'll post the EGM scores when I get it.
*EDIT* The PS2 version got a 9.2 out of 10. If I enjoyed sports or sports games at all, I'd be getting it. :) -Lasereth |
It's like NFL were you play street rules, ie, go hard and play with some crazy tricks.
|
I don't know how good the game is, but the commercial showed a bunch of bodybuilder-type guys playing football on the street, and incorporating stuff they found laying around them into play.
From what I remember anyway, so don't take it as gospel. All the bodies looked the same, though. |
I don't get it..
|
all the players DO looked beefed up ... well it still looks fun to me, Imma get it, if i can get some dough rounded up :D
|
MTV had a making of the game that was quite boring, the game looks well done and acutally looks like it has some depth for single player. I just never have liked these games, I will stick to Madden 2K4
|
I just got it today.. and its awesome... unlockables add replay value, and looks to be a great party game... :D
btw.. he who said EA should leave arcade sports game to Midway... um.. Midway shouldnt be left with ANY game.. :D |
i saw the making of the game on MTV about NFL street, it has some nice taunts in it, when making touchdowns, first downs, big hits and other things. it looks okay, but i wouldn't buy it, ill stick to madden and 2k3
|
I just bought it, its fucking awesome!
I'm too tired from playing it for 3 hours after a long day at work. I'll post some more info later, but to be sure its WAY WAY WAY better than that NFL blitz shit ever was! |
is it better than Nba Street?
how come they wont make a soccer freestyle type game :( so many tricks you can do in soccer |
two different games, but i too picked this up today and i must say wow. this is definately a nice party game. a lot of unlockables adds a lot more value, badass music to play to makes the fast paced action more enjoyable, the style points, gamebreakers, players, etc, etc. it won't dissapoint. compared to blitz..., well you can't really, they are two different games, blitz is like an extreme version of madden, while NFL Street is like it's name implies, football on the street. blitz gets old pretty quick, and i'm sure this will too, but it has a lot more replay value than blitz. if you have an XBox, you can import your tunes into the jukebox, that's a plus.
|
Someone did make a street soccer game.. It sucked. The Blitz like soccer game was pretty decent though.
Maybe it's just me but NBA street seemed like the right thing to just do, but NFL street just seems to unnatural. I guess it's because around here its MUCH MUCH harder to find a football pick-up game. |

EA's relationship with the NFL is much, much stronger and it can get away with a little more. |
I just played NFL Street with some friends on both the X-Box and the Playstation 2 the other day...spread the word: it's a blast! I'm gonna try to save up my money and buy it.
|
pretty good game, love it
