Advance Wars
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
Metroid Fusion
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Golden Sun
Golden Sun: The Lost Age

Those are some great games for it. There's plenty, plenty more, but I'd try out some of those first!

My personal picks...
METROID FUSION
DONKEY KONG COUNTRY
FINAL FANTASY TACTICS ADVANCE
SONIC ADVANCE

and above all othere...
SONIC ADVANCE 2!!!

I recently bought an SP too, at first I felt quite bad about spending so much money on something so small but I have no regrets now, the thing is a modern day marvel.

Yes, it is. I just got a GBA SP for Christmas, along with the golden sun games, donkey kong country, and zelda. All are excellent games, highly reccommended.

What should my first GBA game be?

Any suggestions? I was going to buy FFT:A and I did, but there was no instruction manual, so I returned it. I can probably buy another one, but are there any other games I should get?

Thanks.

FFTA is a good place to start, as is Sonic Advance which is where I started, my order of game buying:

Sonic Advance
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Medal of Honour: Infiltrator
Donkey Kong Country
Metroid Fusion

I've only had my GBA for a few weeks.

I recommend Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, especially if you've never played the PS1 version. It's really hard to put down.

Is it just me or is FFT:A very very tedious? I played it for about an hour and all it seemed to be was the same battles over and over again, without anything else.

Yeah it starts off like that, I got quite sick of beating everyone up all the time but the story progresses and does become very interesting.

Anyone here played Sword of Mana? Played it for little while and was quite impressed, especially since beating everyone up was not the aim of the game.

There are so many good GBA games it's untrue, but all my favs seem to be SNES conversions, particularly the Legend Of Zelda and Super Mario Advance 4.

Definitely Wario Ware. I just won't be able to sleep until I get triple digits! A score consisting of only two measly digits is unacceptable. Ditto with all the other mini-games. Must... play... some more...

Mmm, new addictions.

I never played it, but heard its an action RPG which is pretty rare on GBA. So i guess its a great game.

Have you ever played the Advance Wars series? It's made by the same developer. The gameplay is very similar except with military-style strategies and units. I want Fire Emblem really, really badly. As soon as I find it for below $30, it's mine! Oh, and when I get that much money. Ha.

I was looking at this to find something to replace my Return of the King game. It's like a mini-Diablo, that I play when travelling for hours on end, and I'm finally through with it. I highly recommend it, by the way.
