The Summoning (old school pc)
Anyone else remember this game? Came out in 1992, and it was a precursor in lots of ways to modern pc rpgs, but even looking at gamefaqs, it doesn't seem like it was very popular. It's done in 3/4 view, in real time. The plot is generaly much better than anything else I played during that time, and has a myriad of weapons/clothing/magic. I was thinking about it so hard for some reason this morning, I even went over to ebay, but all they had were 5.25" copies.
