Terresque's grand Video Game Fighter Tournament - A game kinda - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Announcer- Well there's a world of fighters and characters out there who will never meet...But finally we have collected them all to do battle in the most gracious Terresque's Arena! Who will duel, who will win?

Da Rules : Several video game companies who have a cool fighter (or a goofy one) have sent two representatives. You guys get to participate here by chooseing who gets entered. You can pick who gets entered from any game that the company has, provided they can give a decent fight.

The following companies have sent two representatives:

Namco
Capcom
Wizards of the Coast (I just couldn't leave out my fav CCG)
Nintendo
Blizzard
Neo Geo ( they made Metal Slug)
Squaresoft

Every day (after the fighters are chosen) I will post a fight. After that you may argue why one fighter should have lost/won, how good/bad the fight was, and etc.

Get Picking

*NOTE* All match-ups will be completely random, if a weakling gets paired with a cool dude its too bad, same goes if two guys from one company get paired.

I didn't wanna make the picks myself but because no one else did I must.

Representing Namco will be Kilik and Mitsurugi, both from the world of Soul Calibur.

From Capcom we have Dante The Demon Hunter, from Devil May Cry and Wang Tang from Power Stone

In WotC's corner we have two legends of thier most popular CCG, Lin Sivi, The defiant hero, and Baron Sengir, both from Magic the Gathering.

For the often cartoonish Nintendo there is Link The hero of Hyrule from The Zelda Series, and the Super Powered Plumber Mario from the ever running Mario Series.

From the mighty online world of Blizzard hails Cenarious, the Demi God of the Night Elves and powerful entity in Warcraft, and the mysterious and almost godly Zeratul from Starcraft.

Now an arcade favorite Neo Geo, to fight for them there is Tarma and Marco, both from the money making Metal Slug games.

And last but certianly not least, a perrenial favorite Squaresoft. First we have from Balamb Garden, the young and despondant Squal Leonheart and an Ex-Soldier for Shinra the strange and grief stricken over the loss of Aeris is Cloud Stife.

These are our fighters!

A quick Rundown

Namco : Kilik and Mitsurugi (Soul Calibur)

Capcom : Dante (Devil May Cry) and Wang Tang (Power Stone)

Wizards of the Coast : Lin Sivi and Baron Sengir. (Magic the Gathering)

Nintendo : Link (Zelda) and Mario (Mario)

Blizzard : Cenarius (Warcraft) and Zeratul (Starcraft)

Neo Geo : Tarma and Marco (Metal Slug)

Squaresoft : Squal Leonheart and Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII + VIII)

The fights will begin tommorow.

Right now you can all make your predictions on who will win the tournament!

Because there are only seven rounds there will have to be one man who fights twice this round to even out the numbers. It is decided that it will be the winner of Link and Dante's match.

The fight rules:
All weapons are legal. The arena will be changed to resemble one of the fighters natural surroundings. All weapons are legal. The fights have no time limit, the contestants fight until one man/woman is dead.

ROUND ONE!

Cenarius Vs Mario!

The arena has been converted to a lush forest, resembling Cenarius' home.

Here's how the fight went.

Announcer - Cenarius is standing in his corner, conversing with a tree of all things. Mario is jumping up and down and getting a kiss from his sweetie, Peach. Cenarius appears to be ready and treads out on his somewhat phantom legs.

Mario approaches as well.

Cenarius - I wish you good luck, and that you get re-incarnated should you lose.

Mario - Ah, dat-za good!

Announcer - Cenarius readies the magical forces in him body. He extends both of his arms and then points at a small cluster of trees. What is he doing?

Oh my! H-h-he's created a small band of tree warriors! This is going to be good. Mario is looking a bit worried. What's this? Mario is picking up a flower, and he's eating it! You know what this means folks?!

Mario - Hah!

Announcer - Mario is cradling fireballs in either hand, and he's scorching the tree warriors.

Cenarius - How dare you defile the earth? Eyah!

Announcer - Cenarius is making a charge at Mario, his clanking hooves leaving indents every step he takes. *Smack* There's the kick at Mario!

Mario looks steamed, a fireball is thrown at Cenarius, doing little to the Demi-God. However Mario seems very injured.

Cenarius - You were a good opponent, but this ends here!

Announcer - Cenarius is takeing the same pose as when he summoned the tree warriors before, but now he is pointing at Mario! Oh dear lord! Vines are snaking up Mario's legs and around his torso! Litterally squeezing the life out of him.

Cenarius - Announcer, he won't be alive for long, you can stop shouting.

Announcer - The vines are putting immense pressure on Mario. Cover your eyes folks, Mario is gunna leave a stain! *Squish* And that's the end of that one, I guess a plumber fighting a demi-god is a tad preposterous, but that is the luck of the draw! Cenarius is the winner!
