I just received a PM from a fellow TFP'er that noticed that I live in Virginia. These gist of his message was that he was looking for people to game with, specifically Pen & Paper RPG's (the only way to really game IMO). Unfortunately, I live across the state from this guy so I can't really help him.

It got me thinking though. There are a lot of TFP'ers out there, and odds are that some of them might just be local to you. So I decided to post a thread and see. The idea with this one is to state your location, what you tend to play, and extraneous info that might help. If someone sees that you are local and is looking for a game or more players in theirs, a PM is a handy thing.

This was intended for PnP RPG'ers, but I see no reason why those what fancy LAN Parties couldn't benefit.

I'm in southeastern Virginia. I run a game but am not looking for players currently (I have too many and it's killin' me). I do know quite a lot of locals though, and would be happy to try to help someone around here to find a game or find players. PM me if you want.

Fort Wayne, Indiana.

D&D, Alternity, DC Superheroes, Blood of Heroes.. I wanna try out Mage. I'm up for lots of stuff tho. Oh, I'd also love to find a group and play the Chez Geek Series, Munchkin Series, and Flux with people. Those last 3 are all gamer card games. They're quite cool. If anyone were to live around here.. OTHER than Dragon2Fire (Cause I already know he lives here)... plz, Do Tell!

Location: Roanoke, VA (southeast VA).

Game Pref: P&P... D&D 2nd ed (though I'm willing to give 3rd ed a whirl), Whitewolf games (Mage: The Ascension, Dark Ages: Vampire, etc)

Run/Play: Can run a 2nd ed D&D campaign with a fully original world, or through modules. No experience running any Whitewolf games, so I'd rather play one of those...

Looking For: A group to join!

It's be great to get involved with some P&P again. Ahh, the nostalgia!

*edit* I think I could probably convice my best friend to try join, though it'd be his first time...

the last time i played an RPG it was DnD 2nd ed.. i'm starved for the warm spray of orc blood on my face.. i'll play anything at least once.. drop me a line.. my preference is to play as an adventurer.. i could probably drag one more good adventurer (my best friend) into the bloody fray as well..
