vg-network.com has a bunch of emulators (they only have legal software for download, no roms). I recomend Zsnes.

I recently deleted all my roms and emus. I don't mind ripping off the RIAA or movie companies... but I feel that gaming companies deserve my patronage... along with that anyone who sells games. I'm a collector though, so the fake copies are hardly even worth having. But in a way they are.

how can you buy old games that are no longer in the stores? the only way i know of is from used places or ebay or something, but then you're not giving patronage to the companies anymore. do you buy direct? i'm curious because i'd love to restock my genesis collection.

Well, like I said, I'm a collector so the real copy is worth more to me. But, also anyone who takes the time and risks to open provide me with out of production games also deserves my patronage. I'm into retro gaming and places like Game Stop only sell newer games. I have around 120 NES games, many were bought from a local video rental store, but recently I have been getting them real cheap at Goodwill. Goodwill is a place where people donate things and then Goodwill sells them, incase you don't have any. I know they are great for retro gaming. I got around 40 NES games there, NES is my obsession. But I got around 20 Genesis games there too, it's definatly worth checking out. Goodwill Store Locator

zophar.net is one of the oldest, most on top of things emu sites around. They don't host ROMs, but they have just about everything else.

I love emulators, they are the shit, the zsnes ones, actually make the games look better with somekind of graphics engine that smooths the pixles. hmmm hmmm.
