How Much Do You Love Gaming?

So how much? Is it your entire life? Most of it? Half? None? I would have to say a little less then half. Friends and sex(of course) still rank at the top.

Well, I can easily say that it's been my number 1 hobby for the psat 10 years. I used to be a huge anime fan, but now I'm more of a gamer. Some things pass by...comics, anime, cars...but videogames have always stayed with me.

as a college student games are a big part of my life and they have been all my life, i can remember going to buy my nintendo with my dad. as for a percentage of my life i would have to say 40%, but at times it has been 60% or maybe even 80%!!!

I'd say a lot. Most of the time I'm either gaming or reading about games to continue my gaming with. In fact I probably spend too much time gaming. That's not to say I'm actually good at the gaming I do, but I enjoy it.

I've neglected gaming the past few years, in the days of the SNES and Genesis I used to play all the time, but I never really got into the next gen consoles and my computer was only briefly able to play the new games that were coming out. That said, I have heaps of pc games on my shelf, and hundreds of roms which I like to play for short periods. Gaming is probably my third or fourth biggest hobby, it doesn't take over my life, but I really enjoy it.

Shitloads, and being a manager at EB Games doesn't help.

At the moment I have so many games to play that I can't decide which one I want to pick up during my gaming time, in fact I get so confused that I end up not playing anything!

Just last week I spent $300 NZD on games.

It depends on the area of gaming.

Traditional board and card games take up far less time than i would like.
Computergames, in the form of MMORPGs, take up much more time than i would like ( I am getting better though, i dont play every single day, and i havent had a 24 hour session for years )

Games as a whole take up a lot of my time. I think it is one of the most interesting ways of interacting with other people.

don't be sad.. learning something is always more productive than spending countless hours on somehting that, in the end, doesn't really matter so much.. nor have any real result..

Depends on the game really. I normally look at it as a waste of time, but when something really good is out I'm the biggest nerd on the planet.

I love gaming a lot. If I could, i'd play often. but i'm very busy these days with college/work/girlfriend. so, i'd say i'm only spending 2 - 5% of my time on gaming.

not as much as I used to, mostly don't have the time with school and shit, do other things with my free time now and well, lots of games SUCK nowadays. Pretty graphics dont' get me off, and that's all they seem to put time into doing a quality job on.

I've been playing video games for 28 years. I became hooked with my Pong system I go for Christmas when I was 12. Since then I've had just about every system except for the Turbografx and the Nintendo 64. Actually I have a game room set up in the basement with 18 consoles set up ready to run. I use the "big screen" tv for the newer systems and an older tv to run the older systems (i.e. Pong, 2600, Intellivision etc...) since they won't work with newer tv's. I still spend a lot of time playing Star Control for the Genesis and the original Need for Speed on the 3DO. XBox Live is still the best thou.

I really started with Half Life, so I'm rather new to all of this, but have really let it get way into my life. I love the long story-based games and how they track like a good novel or movie. I spend an hour or two per evening (DINK household) but I imagine with kids it would lower considerably. Until then.....bring it on! I love it!

been gaming for 20 years. atari 2600, the nintendo....... now tons of consoles reside with me. i own 12 consoles.

it has helped me tremendously at slowing down my disease process in the hand area. w/o gaming, my hands would probably be drawn up. instead, my finger are extremely flexible.

and besides............. imagine all the people we'd have to kill in r/l with GTA3?!?!:P
