Bargain Games
 

Hey all,

I hate to spend more than $30 on video games, but I have been looking for a new game to play. Know of any good Bargin Bin games out there.. I was at Media Play today and picked up a game called Battle Realms for $5 sounds kinda cool, like a war craft type game.

I'm mostly into RPG's with a few FPS's thrown in but I will try almost any kind of game. But like I said I don't like to spend alot of dough, I normally limit my game $$ to about $15 dollars but if is something I really want to spend I will spend up to $30.

American McGee's Alice - was okay, great story and graphics
Divine Divinity - GREAT GAME, loved this Diablo Clone
Max Payne - AGAIN LOVED IT! Best game i have ever played!

I saw Black & White for $10 has anyone played this game? Looks kinda cool

There's a thread with lots of good suggestions. That said, I just picked up bg2+expansion for 20 bucks, planescape torment is supposed to be very good, and Deus Ex should be good and cheap, although you've probably played all three of those.

Black and White... hmm, I would get it if I were you. However, either people really hate the game or really like it. I feel a bit of both. I really like the game, but I hate it at the same time. The concept is brilliant, but how they apply it is so-so. It is too involved and taking care of all the villages is too hard. Plus you have to look after your pet and etc. But you should get it, it could be fun for you.

Soul Reaver and Blood Omen are awesome games that sell for pretty cheap. I know Soul Reaver is on the PC, not sure about the other one.

Freedom Force is great bargain bin buy at $15 now I think. As for Black and White, get it, just to say you have tried it. DO not waste your time with the Creature Isle expansion.

Freedom Force is a cool game, definitely get it. I got No One Lives Forever on the cheap, that's a quality FPS. Umm, what else... I also got Mafia cheap recently, and the Thief games should be out there for very little, also quality titles, especially Thief II.

Black and White I bought when it first came out, and I never got into it. I always felt like there was something about it I wasn't getting and it left me cold, especially trying to train that god damn creature.

Vampire The Masquerade : Redemption is a great bargain-bin game.

Battle Realms is great (and I was on the Beta Test Team :)
I liked Black and White. I need to play it again now that I have a faster PC.
I think I saw Dungeon Siege on sale now (around $15)
Return to Castle Wolfenstien is cheap now too.

If you see Dungeon Siege cheap get it - it is one the best RPG games I've played. A good space game which is worth giving a go is Edge of Choas - Indpendance War 2, which shouldn't cost you too much.

If you can find it, "The Wheel of Time" is a very good FPS that should sell for about $10 now. It's based on Robert Jordan's series of books by the same name.

Starcraft,broodwar(get it in warez, no cdkey), black/white is cool, half life is always pimp shit, unreal tourny game of the year edition, and max payne is good, dont forget about AVP also...all those games should be around 10 bucks
