Half-Life mapping question

Well, I've exhausted all other avenues, so here we go:

There is a map for the Specialists mod for Half-Life called "skydive_4". It basically consists of a very tall building, some random rooms inside said building, and a courtyard. within the courtyard there is a fountain, and if you land directly in the water from ANY height, as in from jumping off the roof, you take NO fall damage. Does anyone have any clue how to replicate this effect?. Right now I'm using the Valve Hammer mapping utility, and I am at my wits end trying to figure this out, If anyone can shine some light on the situation, I'd be very happy.

Tried that, but it didn't help. I don't think it was the water that was breaking the fall, I think it was the floor under the water had something bound to it that negated fall damage.
