What video game move do you wish you could do?
 

Every time I walk down the halls at work, I imagine myself in Killer Instinct doing that Glacius move where he becomes liquid, slides across the floor, then reforms for the uppercut.

How 'bout you? What move do you wish you could do to your enemies, co-workers, family members?

I want to spit acid in someone's face.

There's a couple I'd like to be able to do.

From Street Fighter -

Wish I could just grab someone and pile drive them into the ground Zangieff style.

Dhalsims stretching arms so I could reach out across a room and punch someone in the face.

From Mortal Kombat -

Be able to freeze people at will like Sub-Zero

Be able to throw that hook and grab people from 50 feet away like Scorpion and say in a really cool voice "Get over here" :D

For me it would be that Mind trick thing Jedi's do in Jedi Knight or Knights of the Old Republic. I'd love that. "You want to sit down and shut up" *waves hand*

I'd like just about any move that Oni showed me...

1. I wanna be able to do a 900 like in Tony Hawk
2. I wanna be able to throw for 500 yards like in Madden
3. I wanna kill prostitutes and run over old ladies and not get caught like in GTA

Most of the True Mosou attacks from Dynasty Warriors 3.

I think I'd have to agree here. Jedi Mind Trick would be crazy, imagine the things you could do.... :D

Hadoken (Ryu from Street Fighter's fireball)
and running on walls like in Jedi Knight and Devil May Cry 2 (not Enter the Matrix 'cause that game just sucked)

I want to be able to do all the moves from Guilty Gear 2. Special effects and all. If only I could get away with smashing a guitar over people's heads like witch girl...

The space jump or the screw attack from Metroid... :D

I want Leisure Suit Larry's smooth moves.

Definitely all of Dante's moves, especially turning demon. Alastor specifically.

Any of Aragorn's special moves from the EA Games Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Especially Bane of Saruman, and Isildur's Deliverance.

I want to break blocks with my fists like mario and luigi.

edit: i'll pass on the whole pipes thing though, anything that goes into a pipe and spawns a man eating flower is just left well enough alone.

IIRC, the most moves Larry's got were ones that involved adjusting his clothing and picking ear wax.

Well, until you finish the game, that is.

I want to Data Drain random people like in dotHack
and I'd want my boobs to have super bounce ability like in DOA

I would love to have that super running speed thing that Samus does in Metroid. I was chasing a dealer through traffic for almost a mile the other day, and everytime I got close he'd start to pull away again...

I want to run as fast as Sonic, grow into a giant like Mario, use a sword like the guy from Prince of Persia, and be as tough as the marine from Doom.

Same here, only I think I'd prefer Ryu's Shinku Hadoken from Marvel vs. Capcom.

That and/or I want to be able to do the vampiric force drain from Jedi Academy

EDIT: Oohhhh, and I wanna be able to pick up near by objects just by running over them, it doesn't matter how large they are, I can always just pull them out of thin air when I need them too.

I'd go with sub zero's freeze.

CounterStrike's ability to shoot accurately with a scoped rifle while jumping.

Jedi powers,
Final Fantasy white/black/caller magic,
Magus' badarse moves from Chronotrigger.

The ability to shoot a rifle as if it was an AWP.

Bullet time like Max Payne.

Or quick save/quick load. Definitely useful.

also, I'm thinking of having swords flying off walls into my stomach implaling me, and rising off of it only to flip the sword in the air a few times and stick it magically on my back would really impress the ladies

the uber tricks in ssx tricky

A metal grappling arm, like in Bionic Commando.

The ability to toss fireballs, like in Mario games.

A shield that regenerates, like in Halo.

An army of crazy wacky plants, like in Pikmin.

The Master Sword, like in Legend Of Zelda games.

The 7 Chaos Emeralds, like in Sonic games.

The power to save state, like in most any ROM.

No question - quicksave/quickload. I really want to try out several different conversation trees with a few people I know...but be able to reload before I get laughed at, fired, or arrested (depending on who it is).

Drive (and get paid) like Schumacher F-1...

The stuff that Nightmare can do with his sword in Soul Calibur II is pretty :cool:

I'm sure that there have to be some people that can do stuff like that in real life too :)

It's all about the Omni-Slash. Although I would like to be able to summon Anema every now and then. Yeah...
