Anyone try this game? It's currently in free beta testing, but theres a wait after you sign up before you can play. I had to wait 4 days to get it, but it was worth it.

It's a pirate themed MMORPG, with lots you can do, even in the beta test. The difference in this game though is, puzzles. You can walk around normally and buy stuff etc., but when you sword fight or sail a ship you do it with puzzles.

I though it sounded pretty lame when my friend told me about it, but it's actually really fun.

I heard about this game and signed up for the beta, but I'm still waiting. I hope I get in soon. I can honestly say based on what I've read so far that I'm more pumped to try this game out than almost anything else I can think of. I run a fairly large community similar to this one, and the idea of all of us cruising around under our own flag is sploogerific.

Well, you can join ships and everyone has things to do on it, like sailing, pumping out water, shooting the cannons and repairing holes etc.

Theres swordfighting, and drinking and pillaging and lots of other pirate type stuff. You kinda have to see it to understand I think, its really unique with the puzzle system, no point and click and wait type stuff like in most MMORPGS. You actually have to think to do stuff.

Right now it's free, and not such a big DL for the client (I did it on my 56K in a few hours) , so you can't lose and might aswell give it a shot.

I too almost punched my friend in the face when he suggested it, I still haven't bothered playing it though.

Why the hell would you do that???? The concept seems so cool...

granted I haven't played it yet, but puzzles or no, it's pretty hard to go wrong with a pirate MMORPG...
