I was just interested in knowing if anyone here played Dark age of Camlelot.

Its by far the best MMORPG i've played. And i just wanted to recommend it to you guys ..
It costs a small amount of 12€ per month to play, but its worth it! .. :)

Is it mostly hack and slash, as many MMorpgs are? Or is there an emphasis on socializing, and other jobs as well? Maybe I want to be the worlds greatest boulder pusher. Is that possible in Dark Age of Camlelot?

this is really pissing me off. I can't play until I find the new classic patch or until I can actually connect for the auto update. Can n e body help me out?

DAoC was a good MMO, the PvP system was good and you definitely got good bonus for being good or being groups. the only draw was the constant nerfing that mythic did(they listened to whiners to much) and if you tried to go the whole solo route you'd never reach 50 and you wouldn't be able to do shit in the PvP system they had set up. Large variety though, 3 realms 6 races per realm and at least a dozen classes for each realm. they had a very good crafting system, at the beginning, in which high lvl crafters could make better items than you could find, but after the first expansion that was no longer true. Also as it went on the servers became unbelivably unbalanced and one sided, if you were on the wrong realm you had no chance
