Need arcade help...
Looking for the title of a game I played about 8-9 years ago. Side-scrolling fighter ala Mortal Kombat. Featured futuristic type characters, each having a special weapon attached to their bodies in some manner. Upon defeating that character, you gained his/her weapon. Eventually gaining all the available weapon types & functions. Play also gave users the attacks to remove the heads/arms/legs from opponents, leaving them alive for play still. ( There's still a lifebar, but you can play with only one arm. ) ....
I remember a summer spending QUITE A FEW DOLLARS at the arcade in garden city beach, playing the tourists and honing my skills. Just curious if anyone can remember a title for it? or possibly have a mame-capable rom? 2 player cabinet, had a 4 digit password so it remembered your character/levels/etc. |

Wow, I remember reading about this game in a gaming magazine. I never saw it in the arcades though. What year did it come out? And what version of mame is this available in? Ah, after reading through the mame web page I see it came out in 1994. I was big time into Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct games back then. Kinda wish we had seen this. Looks like it would have been fun.

At the time this came out, I was still in Myrtle Beach. So spent my mornings skipping school & staying in the Pavillion arcade playing this. Wish I knew enough then to look up some of the trash codes. Should just rename this title to button-mashing-madness.
