E3 2011: what are you looking forward to?
 

Well, it's come and gone: E3 2011.

Hardware:

• A Sony 3D bundle: TV, glasses, and a game
• Sony PS Vita, a next-gen handheld
• Nintendo Wii U, where Nintendo goes hi-def and debuts a tablet-like controller

Software:

• a new Fable game
• CoD: MW3
• Mass Effect 3
• Halo 4
• Star Wars: The Old Republic
• Battlefield 3
• Driver: San Francisco
• Far Cry 3
• Ghost Recon: First Solider

So what has you the most excited?

I'm hoping the Star Wars game is well executed. I wouldn't mind testing out a great sci-fi MMO.

I haven't played anything beyond the first Fable, but now that I have a PS3, I'm disappointed that it's an Xbox exclusive.

I'm really looking forward to Skyrim, though I admit that I still have hours left to play on Oblivion.

Also, I wish I were more into war games. Some of these new ones coming out look pretty spectacular.

What are your impressions on what's coming down the pipeline?

i just read up on the new nintendo. some of it sounds fun... the controller has a builtin touchscreen and camera so you can actually play on it as well as use it with your tv. they demo'd a guy putting the controller on the ground and swinging at a golf ball on the little screen with a wii mote.

tough to say i'd get it all in all though. i barely touch my ps3 as is. it'd take something pretty amazing to get me to leave pc gaming i think.
