So I cracked and bought a PS3 as a store here had a promotion for no sales tax (12%). Yes, I got mine for under 300.

Also picked up God of War 3 for 60$. Pretty friggin epic.

I'm impressed so far. What else should I keep my eyes open for in terms of games? And for the record, I'm a PC gamer first, so don't bother suggesting pure FPS games. Mostly looking for platform exclusives..

Heavy Rain is awesome, when Last Guardian comes out I will probably die from joy. Uncharted 1 and 2 are awesome. MGS4. I know you said you dont want fps games for the ps3 but killzone and killzone 2 are great and they are exclusives.

What about Fallout 3? I loved that on ps3, never tried in on PC.

Yeah I loved fallout 3 but he said ps3 exclusives so I just stuck to those.

I've already played Fallout on the PC...though I never did get all the DLC. Perhaps in the future if they ever bundle it all together to make it a deal (GOTY needs to get cheaper ).

GF picked up Little Big Planet...looks cute haha.

Available for download for pennies (well a few bucks) from the PS3 store. Hugely addictive, and not a boring old FPS (how many ways can the same objective be packaged any ways? - I got bored of Bioshock on the PC after about a week of working through it. Same with Fallout3).

But Pain? Now that's just plain fun.
