I played a ROM of an old Transformers game.... I think it was NES.
It was terrible.

But I'd like to see a good new Transformers game.

The Armada TV show is total bollocks so I don't care much about a VG of it. However I saw some screenies for the G1 game a while back and thought it looked awesome. Best Cartoon series ever.

I feel like a Transformers game could never live up to expectations. I'd love to see them try, though.

There is a preview of the G1 game in this month's offical playstation mag.
I can tell you it's being developed in japan by WinkySoft, and being handled for Euro and Stateside release by Infogrames (ATARI). It's strongly favored to be a PS2 exclusive title, but may come out for Xbox and gamecube as well. There is a video floating around the net, and hosted for IGN Insiders. This game was shown at last year's E3.
