Steam moving to Mac OS X
For those unaware, Steam is game company Valve's game distribution software which has been on PC for quite some time. Game titles like Half Life, Modern Warfare, Team Fortress, and Left 4 Dead all run exclusively on Steam and, as of now, don't have Mac OS X versions available. Needless to say, Steam on Mac OS X would represent a huge opportunity for Mac enthusiasts to finally dive head first into gaming.
Turns out Valve is probably developing Steam for Mac OS X soon. What does this mean? Get a Mac with a good video card. Now. |
already have 2.
:D Still won't use them for gaming, but it's nice to see people are interested in macs for things other than "graphics" |
I've played Portal on my mac under emulation. Works nicely. I'm EAGER to play HL2 and TF.

Very nice! Will get when it rolls around :D I hope this means more native OS X gaming!

Hey, and the just announced Portal 2. Wonder what the odds of simultaneous release are...
|
Guess that depends on the way they do the ports, but if they port the entire Source engine, it could be simultaneous...
