System Specs Processor Intel Core 2 2400 MHz Physical / Logical CPUs 1 / 2 MultiCore 2 Processor Cores HyperThreading N/A Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX Graphics Driver NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX Linked display adapters No DirectX Version 9.0c System Memory 3328 MB Disk Space 953.88 GB Motherboard Manufacturer ASUSTeK Computer INC. Motherboard Model StrikerExtreme Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Using a custom config I found here... http://crysiseu.com/component/option...2664/catid,14/ I was able to unlock some of the dx10 'only' features. I get 25-30 fps in the wide open and much better in closed spaces, still very playable and looks damn impressive. I have only had the game for a few hours, but I'm really enjoying the stealth game aspects.

Ok this game rocks.
Enemy AI can be stupid at times when it comes to your cloaking ability, but it still as good or better than any FPS AI I've seen. The effects are awesome, the environment is very real feeling. For example, at one point I've run from a Korean patrol and they are stalking me. I'm out of cloaking power prone and I see things start to move, they were frogs. Most of the environment is destroyable, trees fall down, that sort of thing. Not everything but more than most games and well done. Another favorite moment was when I accidentally hit the grenade key 'g' instead of the pick up key 'f', while in a tin shack. I run and dive for the floor, and the tin roofed shack has two walls blow out and the roof falls in on me. The story is good, and manages to keep you at least feeling you arn't alone, when 90% of the time you are alone. This makes your 'lone wolf' of a typical fps feel a bit less contrived. Anyways its late, this isn't a real review, but I'd give the game an A.

The game is pretty, but I doubt I'll ever own it.
Food for thought, Kotaku has article posted on it's site saying: Quote:

Haha, if I tried to run this game on my Dell it would explode for sure. I know I'll never own this game, and probably never play it either. I'm horrible at PC FPS games.

I play this on my new system at high-very high with ~30 fps. It slows down during the fights with the big aliens right at the very last chapter but other than that it was butter. I'd post some screens but I'm one lazy fucker tonight.
Ustwo, I totally agree... the stealth is awesome. It's all about stealthing as a truck is driving towards you then shooting the gas tank as it passes and watching them try to get out before it explodes

I've downgraded to a A- reason.........
Spoiler: The ending is just a lead in to the sequel and nothing is resolved in the least.
